In almost a first of many upcoming firsts on The Unlearning Playground, I am elated to share with you a new four-part video series in direct collaboration with Rocco Jarman of Eyes Wide Open Life.

We have titled it Beyond Politics, for the simple fact that even though we are talking about politics in this series, its main intent is to help the viewers go beyond the political game we really need to outgrow now.

Beyond Politics, a four-part video series on The Unlearning Playground by Chetan Narang & Rocco Jarman, with conversations around how to bring about some real change in Political Ideologies that Modern Democracy truly needs

The first video of the series, which released earlier today focuses on WHY we need a big overhaul in the way Modern Democracy is playing out in the world right now.

Unless you’re living in a cave, you would know that in today’s global political landscape, polarisation is increasingly becoming the norm. Whether in India, the USA, or any other democracy, the ideological divide among people is deepening and this growing rift is not only impacting political discourse but also hindering our ability to address pressing societal issues effectively.

And that is quite the heart of our new series too.

You would know, as a regular consumer of my content, that I do not quite delve into political issues quite often on The Unlearning Playground. However, something that I am definitely bent towards, which is one of my chief games, is increasing the level of compassion in the world, increasing the level of love, self-awareness and consciousness in this world.

And, when I look at it, if there is any place that could use more consciousness, more self awareness, more compassion – it IS politics!

So, without further ado, I invite you to join Rocco & I in our sincere attempt to game-change the way we approach politics.
Someone has to start, you know!

Let’s catch up in the playground soon.
Until next time.
Peace out.
